cinni-butter, i think...

paulbuckley Jul 09, 2010 04:15 PM

mom is a heavily striped cinny like these guys. mated with a butter and a calico. i dont see calico, i dont see yellow, but i've never hatched cinnies this light either. both of these came out of the same egg and are a tad small, but look like they'll be ok.

i'll post pics after they shed and maybe that will shed some light.

Beautiful snakes, Paul. Can't wait to see how they look after hatching.
Congrats!

Whatever it is it looks cool. I like their black backs. We WILL need some updates on them after they shed. Congrats Chris Hall

I would think that they are cinnamon calico crosses, the calico should start creeping in the sides as they shed. They definitely aren't lesser cinnamons, here's a pic of a lesser cinnamon right out of the egg:

all the calico crosses i've seen, you can see the calico influence immediately as that claico color bleed is there. of course it comes in more as they shed. but these guys show none of that.

hell, i hope i'm wrong, as i'd love some cinnicals. but if they are not cinni-butters (lithium) or cinnicals, that leaves that they are 100% cinnamon - but they dont look like any cinnamons i've ever hatched, or have seen.

a bit of a mystery at this point.

Whatever they turn out to be they are BEAUTIFUL! Please please post pics after they shed
