What does brumate mean and how do u do it?

Brumation=cooling down of temps and letting the tank dry out some. I would do it for about a month or so at a time, but only if the frog has good weight. You might want to read up on it more though. Andy

well i have herd they die in brumation.y.

Because they dry out or the frogs are malnourished before brumation. The frogs still need it to be somewhat damp, so a lot of times they end up drying out when people do not give them enough water when brumating. And when brumating, the frogs use fat stores. If the frog is already somewaht skinny, well there's a problem. Andy
