Aberrant patterned MN hog

Here is a little female hog that was found the other day. She was crossing the road at about 11am and 85-90F.

Heterodon nasicus- Minnesota

Trail on road

Habitat- Yes this is Minnesota!!

Wow! Thats a nice one! I've never found one in temps that high, have you before this one?

I have. We find the majority during the mornings/evenings with temps between 50-75F. We have found several during the hottest part of the day though (1-3pm >85F and sunny).

Strange critters for sure.
