How to safely soak my graybanded?

snakemother Jul 10, 2010 12:59 PM

My graybanded has a lump at his vent, and I've found by researching here that it could be solidified urine, and that soaking should allow him to pass it. My question is how to keep him in the bath for the 30 minutes recommended without drowning him?
Thanks!

When I soak any of my snakes I just put about an inch of luke warm water in the tub. I've never had any issues. If its a smaller snake just put like an 1/8th to a 1/4 inch of water in a tupperware container. Good luck.
