Please be sure there is info attached to all donations with your name and contact info (so we know whom to thank), and also, that it is for THE CORNSNAKE DINNER RAFFLE. Otherwise, it might go to the evening auction. The proceeds will go to US ARK either way. BUT - if they go through our raffle, we get the fun of more stuff in the raffle, and of presenting a check to Andrew for our efforts.
Some of the most expensive items will be displayed on the US ARK table on Sat. to sell raffle tickets to all who attend instead of just our corn group. If something REALLY expensive is donated, we and Andrew MAY decide it would be most beneficial for US ARK to place it in the evening auction instead of our raffle. We want to have as much fun with this as possible, but the end goal IS to benefit US ARK. So it would be great to have all donations by opening time on Sat. morning.
If we know exactly what the donations are ahead of time, and from whom, then we can publicize them ahead of time, and create more excitement to sell more tickets.
