Introducing the Phantom Mojave

TnT_Reptiles Jul 11, 2010 12:38 AM

I believe this is the first in the world , but I could be wrong.
RDR Phantom x mojave. This was a joint project with my good buddy Chris @ Coils Select Serpents.
Ended up with 6 eggs and 1 went bad. This was the first and only phantom mojave in the clutch and it's a male!!

Forgive me if I am wrong, but isn't that the same thing as the "Mystic potion"?
So it may be the first RDR Phantom/mojo cross...but it's been done. Either way, nice snake.

I also thought a Mystic Potion was a Phantom Mojave. Am I wrong?

Would think just calling it a Phantom Potion would be the best way to keep it simple and avoid all this naming headache stuff , but hey what do I know anyway.. lol...

This is actually how I figured a Phantom Potion would look , the pattern goes down the sides further.. In the end Mystic will be slightly different than Phantom but do alot of the same things anyway. Think of Mystic and Phantom much like the Cinnamon and Black Pastel-- 2 variations of a gene with that ""similiar yet still different" stuff going on there too.....

Sure glad I didn't call mine Mystic Mojave , sounds to boring to me.....Potion turned out to fit the mold quite well anyway I think.

I didn't realize calling the animal what it actually is would be confusing for most people.

i thought kevin mcurly did this cross years ago and called them purple passions? i know he has phantoms but not sure what line there from maybe his own????? dont matter i guess still a great looking animal. good work!

if you "creatively" name stuff and pretty much NEVER disclose ingredients -- it becomes problematic on holding to revisionist history/philosophy such as "I made combo 'XYZ" way back when". For my money, posting AND DISCLOSING INGREDIENTS warrants claim to first made.

Nice first Phantom Mojave Trevor. Props for going old-school and naming it for what is is genetically!!!!!!

Well Bill, that is not exactly what I did......I just have fallen behind on putting up new ball pages and I got distracted. Nothing more than that....

I have sooo many mutations that I have never even put pages up for because I am kind of busy taking care of things.....

but you keep up the good work.

Not trying to be a jerk either.....

But if you would have answered my email last month I would have known.

How convenient for you to come here and beat your chest years later! Not revealing ingredients is getting old! And as far as not returning emails, not at all surprised, customer service was never your forte!
