evansnakes Jul 11, 2010 07:38 AM

Just a great clutch, from killer bee yellow belly x lemon blast, may I present: spinner blast, super spinner blast yellow belly, killer blast yellow belly and bumble bee yellow belly. That is my biggest excitement for this season. Just love cluthces like this when you have no idea what is going to hatch and sometimes still no idea what has hatched until you really get a chance to examine them! Hope you guys like them, I cant stop looking at them. E

Nice clutch! Does seem odd to me how you get so much YB in your breeding when your only working with the one Copy of Yb in many of those cases. You must have exceptional luck working for you there! Maybe I need to get some of Marc's Yb's down here if they are hitting that often, my Yb's breed out more classic with the 50% odds as most single stage codoms do ! I guess the Ivories I got may help at some point a little but with some of this like what your gettinng here makes me wonder if maybe I don't even need all them Ivories, lol !

Wow Anthony, that really does always sound like a back handed compliment. Lets see, last year I had 8 eggs and got 4 yellow belly morphs. Yellow belly lemon blast, spinner blast, spinner and spider. Is that such a crazy luck percentage Anthony? This year I had only 5 eggs from the same girl, not so lucky? and 1 went bad, not so lucky? so 3 out of 5 were yellow bellies. Crazy odds!!! I have had 9 spiders out of 10 eggs several times. 10 pastels out of 10 eggs a couple times. AND I have had 1 spider out of 8 eggs and 1 pastel out of 10 eggs. If you breed enough ball pythons you will get an even ratio eventually, that is how it works. I produced 200 ball pythons so far this year. I do not think 3 out of 5 is crazy odds. But thanks for your remarks. I am not sure why you would give credit to marc for my male killer bee yellow belly that was produced by a breeder here in Michigan last year, not by him. You know I dont think I have ever posted anything on your snake pics you post so often. I'm sorry that I do not have any mystic x mojave going on but I will stick with my focus on triple, quad and more. Thanks Anthony.

Thanks very much to all for the kind words. They are a great pair of snakes and I may just keep breeding them together every year. E
