Whats the earliest that you have cut eggs?
I wait until at least one egg pips before I open the rest.

the earliest i've cut eggs is day 53, i too usually wait until the first one pips.
I won't cut until a majority of the clutch has pipped. If a day and a half has passed and several eggs remain unslit...I cut the remaining eggs at that time. I like the way nature does things!

yep......
of course they were duds.....
yaaa....
.....after 65.289 % of clutch pips then I cut....
.....and it's still too early for those slow and late ones....it still takes 3 days for them to get out of the egg...5 even....and the egg needs to be plaed in a cup and in the 'bator anyways....
yep...
....good luck

Last year I cut a clutch at 42 days, and a clutch at 45 days. As long as you only make a small flap and are very careful not to hit any veins you could probably safely cut eggs at 40 days. The problem with cutting super early is that the snake has not colored up yet, you can only tell pattern. I now cut at day 52. By then the babies have most of their color and you can tell exactly what you have. (That's the purposes of cutting eggs, right?)
