There are a few breeders in the states and Canada now of D. reticulatus. Mark Pepper is the only one really advertising. He has the highest quality frogs I've seen, and is a super guy (provided you're not driving with him and he gets lost...). He does shipments to the states pretty often and has quite a few D. reticulatus breeding and for sale. Contact him at mark@understoryenterprises.com his computer has been down, but I hear he'll be back online as of last night. Tor also is breeding D. reticulatus, but I'm not sure of his availability. If you're going to North West Frog Fest, I'm sure there will be some there... Also, if you go waaay back in the day (when I was just getting started with dart frogs) I purchased 3 D. reticulatus for $50. They looked a lot like baby D. pumilio then, as we all never saw D. reticulatus before. They did very well for a number of years for me, but I never had a male. They all died eventually at around 4 years after I got them (well 2 died, the third I sold). Enough reminiscing...

""and is a super guy (provided you're not driving with him and he gets lost...)""
Justin, are you saying i'm unpleasant when im lost? I am actually quite pleaseant to be around when im lost, its just that my english vocabulary shrinks to 4 letter words and my spanish consists of a few key phrases...this probably scared and confused Justin...lol.., well there is nothing better than getting lost in lovely San Jose CR, or Washington DC either...
Anyways not sure where im going with this, but if anyone wants some good stories at IAD, I have several to tell about Justin in CR, and im sure hes got his share on me, should be fun.
Oh, good lord, I forgot about that story again. Yes, Mark has one really good story on me. But I'm not the only one to fall, just the only one to do it submerged in the middle of a street...
Ask him some time how well the cheese gets along with his stomach. He kept eating pizza despite his stomach's inability to deal with it. The bathroom was never safe after a pizza night.
P.S. He fell down more slopes (sometimes with frogs in hand) than I have fingers and toes...
I managed to get on a short list for a couple of them a while back. The breeder has asked that I remain hush hush as he doesn't want swamped with emails, otherwise I would say who. Your best bet would be to email some of the thumbnail breeders like Tor Linbo, Todd Kelley, Patrick Nabors and a few others. You're highly likely to find some. Best of luck!
