New trio of mountain horned dragons

zrho Sep 23, 2003 10:59 PM

I acquired a trio, 1.2 A.capra
Housed in a custom enclosure that is 5'high, 4'long and 2'deep.

All have eaten, taking several crawlers a piece as well as some superworms. Now awaiting poop, to inundate my vet.

Here is a snapshot of the smaller of the two females.

I am waiting on a trio of Juveniles to come in the mail.
I have a 30 gal hex tall, with a climbing branch, and some fake folliage (until I learn they are parasite free) and drainage stones to catch the overflow from the dripper I have set up for them (they need to hear water)
I just love the little Dragons, and look forward to having a Quoffel (heard, tribe, Pride) of them myself soon
Here is Picture of Erowen in her old Hab (now the plants have settled in, and the fountain has been replaced by a waterfall filter, and we have a sunken food dish)
Nice to see someone taking pride in their Dragons environment, See the posts from geckolover101 to see how badly some are being cared for
The folks here truely care for their animals, it does my heart good

Very nice looking dragon. Nice color and doesn't look thin. I wish all of them looked that good, then I wouldn't be so upset with the imports!

I am so glad to hear that you had everything set up and ready to go before you got them. It's so much easier on them that way. If they are eating they will fulfill the poo need. Be sure to look under leaves and stuff. Mine like to go under low branches.

Hope to hear more,
Marcia
