Here is my new little gal that i picked up at the KC show on the 21st. I really liked the markings this girl had on her head. The personality difference between the borneos and the reds is really amusing! Anywho, thought i'd share, hope ya like

Are you saying all black borneos are not as nippy as reds?

Borneo's by and large, are less prone to bite than their blood counter-part and calm down when they are nippy a lot sooner.

Thanks for all the responses, glad you like her! I think she's a bit on the skinny side, so i'm gonna have fun fattening her up

She does seem much more laid back than my red, but i also only held her during the show and while getting her settled in. So when she is all nice and warm it might be another story! Kinda doubt it though, she seems pretty placid. have a great day everyone,

Hey, remind me again how big Borneo's get? Is it six feet plus? Thanks. Gorgeous snake. I'm thinking about getting one myself. How much did you pay for her if you don't mind me asking?

Hey there,
It seems like the normal size for females is around 5 feet, but they can max out at 6 1/2. I paid $125 for her at the show

I don't know if you are speaking of darker Borneo short-tail types, or if your reference was meant as Black bloods, (AKA - Sumatran short-tails), found in Southern and south western Sumatra, west of the Barrisan mountains.
