Year of the Gopher Part 1

I've had a heckuva herping year as far as Gophers were concerned. I don't think I've ever seen this many in a season. So, I thought I'd post a series of photos honoring these great snakes.

Found this Great Basin hunting up in the High Desert after some Thunder Storms.

Another deserticola from the Kern Co. area. These guys were all over the place out there.

That does look lke a Kern model. Seen a bunch this year too, day and night. Love seeing them lying out across the road.
