A while back folks were discussing some breeders taking individual pics of animals they were offering and including them on their sites and ads Pro and Con.

We all reap the benefits of info sharing(Forums, classifieds, breeder sites, cage sites, care sheets etc.)
and have become familiar with computers in small part because of access to hobby stuff. Do you think you'll see the day where breeders will take advantage of Skype (which is free)to hawk their animals? Sort of like going to a vendors table through the computer screen. In light of the progressive move of IPhone 4 too?

I don't see how Skype can hurt except that dragging snakes to and from cages to the computer screen for a customer that can't make up his mind would drive me nuts..

One thing the internet gives us is the ability to work in our less than stellar looks. IE I am in my jammies right now in a hotel after being on the road for 14 hours.. Skype may be a problem with that

in the picture of your mountain king, what is the decoration? that bark hide. i'm getting ready to build an enclosure for a hypo brooks, and am looking for decoration ideas.

i kind of like the idea of skype. to me, it's better to see a person face to face when doing sales. i wouldn't really see the need to keep bringing out snakes for the indecisive person. just post a pic of it. they can look as many times as they want.

It's just a peice of Cork Bark. Usually the shows have them to pick out at good prices. Nice and flat like to give them that secure squished in feeling when they need it. Glass cages.com and Constrictors Northwest also have the plastic molds of real rocks that are coated with sand to give them a very real look without the weight and you can use a box cutter for an access hole. They do backgrounds too which look very real, but are just a little too expensive in my opinion.
