I'm just getting my Digi camera figured out and testing some pics. This is one of my hatchlings and one of my best tigers.

Also do you have pics of the parents????
jsut want to see how the genetics work

EricKlees May 26, 2003 03:07 PM

No im actually keeping this one. no pics of the parents right now, the female is about to lay more eggs so I dont want to bother her now but I can get a pic of the male.

The Female is a high yellow with a faint tiger pattern and th emale is a beautiful dark/chocholate fire.

I'll try to get a pic of him up tonight... hes has been seperated from her at this point.

OMG IM SO JEALOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where on earth did you get such a beauty!??
see that is what i have been looking for for a while now and from that coloration i can tell he can get a LOT darker

EricKlees May 26, 2003 06:24 PM

He gets ALOT darker, yes, but he darkened up that much in about 5 min.

He's awsome. I actually got him from LLL Reptile. But I will never get from there again. I got him and a matching DarkFire female at the same time but 3 weeks after I got them, the female developed rubber jaw and a bad case of MBD. Obviously they dont really care for thier animals like they should in my opinion. I called them up and they said... sorry your on your own.

Once I have a bad experience with a plae... I dont go back

Nice looking crested! I have a bunch of pics of some of my adults on my site. Check them out and tell me what you think.

Nice. I like the orange and the orange tiger the best.

Captive_Science May 26, 2003 07:11 PM

Thanks! I would like to see the same pattern types in red contrasted with white. A white stripped tiger i guess you would say.

Godo luck!!! the best ive seen liek that is stripping on the knees and fringes.

I'll post my brindle and show you what I mean

EricKlees May 26, 2003 07:32 PM

You can see the cream/white stripe on the finrges of th eback legs.

Though I think I might have one like this with orange or red with the fringe stripping, I am not sure I have a pic of that one yet.

Bloody hell eric, where do u get your geckos!!!
whered you get that one??

(whats a proper definition of "brindle"?)

EricKlees May 26, 2003 10:35 PM

Brindle can be thought of as marble. If youve ever seen a boxer, or even a pit bull, that has the the black "slashes" in the coat like stripes, that is called brindle.

I think I got that one from a friend of mine.
