FINALLY BABIES ARE HERE......

asnakesview Jul 14, 2010 01:02 PM

Well after being here gravid for 112 days Athena finally gave me her litter early this morning. I checked on her at about 1:30am and she was curled up and checked again at 8am and there were a pile of babies so somewhere between then she had her great litter. For a first litter we are very very happy. I wouldn't call them co-dom reverse stripes but they do definitely reproduce reverse stripers. We got four I think of the 14 babies that were reverse striped. Dad ended up proving out a super. We got 14 wonderful looking hypos and one weird little quarter of a slug. Looks like a slug hat. Anyway without further ado here they are.....
Athena with her litter....

just pulled out of the cage....

a tub shot after pinching all the cords....

and then here is our favorite little one so far before sheds.....

Hope you all like them. We had a very awesome morning to say the least. Hope everyone is having a good hump day.
Oh yeah and here is dad....

Not the best pic that shows his colors but you get the idea. He is in with another of our normals right now.

Thanks a bunch Ike. Yeah we were getting antsy because she hadn't eaten in close to four months so we are glad to get them out of her and get her back on some food. I just checked to see if she had eaten the rat I gave her but she hadn't so I shook it and she nailed it harder than I have seen one hit in a minute. Glad to see there is an appetite there.

Thanks a lot Zack. Matt and I were pretty happy this morning to say the least. We kept looking for the normals because we had no idea that dad even had a chance of being a super.

This is my first litter from animals that I own. (Zach). The first four litters were from Matt's animals but we do everything we do together as a team so in our minds we each have 5 litters of boas under our belts.

Thanks a lot Ant. We appreciate all the help and trying to keep us patient. There are a couple lookers in there for sure and we can't wait to see them shed out. Final count was 14.

Not that we know of. She came from Jeremy Stone, but we are not sure where the parents of them came from or even what they were. We are looking into that now. Thanks for the compliments we truly appreciate it.

Do you by chance remember what the pairing was and the date the parents of our litter were born on? We didn't even know the male had a chance of being a super. We would just like to have as much info as possible. Do you still have the pair that produced our pair? Got any pics of them?

If you can refresh my mind on the parents, and how I would know them, I a may be able to help you more. Thanks, Jeremy
