some reptile drawings

DMong Jul 14, 2010 07:04 PM

I ran into a colored pencil drawing I did a few years back, so I thought I would post it. It's definitely nowhere close to what many can draw, but for me, I was pretty happy with how it turned out..LOL!

here are a couple more I drew with the actual computer mouse in the windows "paintbrush" program.

They took many hours to do zooming in and out to do alot of it pixel by pixel.

Doug,
Not bad. Not bad at all.

I bet you could draw up a much better design that what the Daytona Reptile T shirts have on them every year.

I like the scarlet king hatching one and the snapper for a T shirt.

Yeah, the boa does resemble the logo for the Daytona show, and the way it is wrapped around the state of Florida..LOL!

Glad you liked the Scarlet king and snapping turtle too Rainer!

Thanks Jorge,.....

They were a real pain in the ARSE to do, and I'm not so sure I would have the patience to attempt ever doing any more..LOL!

Drawing with the mouse, and not a drawing stylus was pretty aggravating, the mouse tends to go all over the freakin place..LOL!

by watching the guys who did like blue prinys and stuuf at an old job. They used a drafting program but you can do it with the paint program on your computer. Make points and the let the computer draw the line. You can also make two points let the comp draw the line and you can bend the line to form curves. It's pretty cool. I tried to draw free hand like you said with a mouse and you will go blind, lol.

The snapper done in a stylized, 8 bit fashion would make an excellent Tshirt.

Thanks man!,....

yeah, I guess it would make a pretty cool t-shirt!

I have made a few snake t-shirt prints with some actual photos in the past that were pretty neat.

I agree about the expo shirts. They have only had two that I really liked in the last 10 years.

Yeah, I'm sort of surprised they haven't done a better assortment of shirt prints too over the years.
