BANANA EGGS!!

DMong Jul 15, 2010 01:20 PM

Geeez!,....

talk about LOOOONG eggs!..LOL!

These were from a fairly small Hondo. This is typical for smaller snake's to lay more elongated eggs to compensate for their diameter, but these were still quite a surprise at 4 inches long.

I hope they hatch without being folded in half!..LMAO!!

Wow! Very similar to some I had seen laid before with a female king one time, and a female sinaloan also, that I had bred, back in the nineties. I didn't know what to think at the time, but the clutches both hatched out into some fairly huge babies.

Thanks for sharing Magnum!

Odd how the eggs come out, yeah? I had about 4 out of 12 come out like that and have rounded out since then.

DMong Jul 15, 2010 09:31 PM

Yeah, they could swell and pirk-up just a bit, but I don't think they will look like most normally do.
