Whats the oldest a corn male can be and still have fertile sperm?
I recently paired a 15 y/o male witha 2 y/o fem and got a fertile clutch. Its the first time he's been bred in over 10 years.Pretty cool right?

Snakes, like most reptiles, reproduce for their entire lives. Generally there is no stopping of reproduction due to "old age." Fertility may not be as good as younger snakes and clutch sizes may be smaller, but snakes often reproduce until they "give up the ghost."

Here is a 22 year old Honduran Milksnakes that I'm expecting eggs from next month:

I have a 12 year old female that hit her stride last year with the production of 20 good eggs, and another clutch of 20 this year. Previous years I bred her only produced 10 on average between 2001-2004. I did not breed snakes from 2004 until last year again, and boy was I surprised about her production rate increasing!!! As long as she has good body composition and weight, I plan to continue breeding her annually.
