Thanks. As it turns out my photo file size is too large. I was hoping it would be easier to figure out. Will put pic on when I get it reduced. I'm technologically challenged. Old in other words.
open a free photobucket account.that will resize your images for you and tag them with [img] tags so they show

Thanks for the help. This is the first one out. He has a lot of yellow!

Another shot after uncovering him from under the spaghnum.

This is #2. He looks like a bandit peeking out. Looks anery to me.
Cool!, I like the wide yellow bands on that one.
BTW, here is something that might help you out posting numerous pics with photobucket. This is how I do it, and it is easy as pie this way.
posting multiple photos............
There are several different ways to do multiples from photobucket, but the absolute EASIEST way is to simply go to your album, then when you put your cursor on any photo there, you will see a drop-down menu. go down and "left click" to highlight the stuff in the "IMG Code" box, then right click to "copy" it when you see it is blue, then just simply paste it in the text field on the forum where you normally do all the typing.
It will look like a bunch of weird jargon, but when you hit the "post message" button....BINGO!, there it is.
You can leave little spaces in between pics with your "enter" key on the keyboard to type in captions etc.. as well.
You can do this with as many pics as you want.
All the image bracket nonsense is all done for you when you do it like I mentioned, it is as easy as pie really.
One suggestion though. To prevent any mistakes from being posted, I strongly suggest that you check things out and click the "preview Message" button to see exactly how it will look to the forum viewers, then you can save the embarrassment of posting screw-up's multiple times like so many do..LOL!
Good luck!

Doug isn't it easy to do it this way?
1. Check the photos you want to use
2.Then click the GENERATE HTML AND IMAGE CODES at the bottom and they all show up as one unit

.
.
.
.
3.Then highlight/copy and paste that whole unit of pics to your KS.com post

It should look like this

put a space between the pics it looks better

If its just one photo I just copy /paste the photobucket link under that pic

Thanks to both you and Doug for your help with photo posting. By the way, that last picture you showed, looks like a box you made just for photographing snakes. Looks like a great idea. Thanks again. I'll be trying out some of these suggestions soon.
Another trick is to use a inverted garbage can lid.The advantage here is you can rotate the snake to get the angle you want w/o picking it up

Later you can "crop" the photo with a photo editing program to get rid of the plastic lid and recenter the image

Always be ready to grab the snake if it trys to get away and NEVER do this within 5 or 6 feet from any holes or deep grass/shrubs.

Yeah, I guess it's pretty much the same thing, just a bit differently done.
BTW, that is a great idea with the container being cut away in the front for photos!.......very cool!
