Snake hooks

What size snake hooks are good to use with adult 8 ft boas. Which one do you use?

I use the 29" one from midwest tongs. But of course a 8' snake should never be supported by the hook. I more often than not use it backwards. Holding the hook end and using the padded handle to nudge/tap the snakes head to break the ambush trance.

They make very large python hooks that are thicker.... but honestly... I dont use hooks for boas..... ... If any use would be necessary it's only to pull a loop of the body to a point where you can grab it....
