HOT ORANGE TAIL HYPO LEOPARD BOA

Lizards of Oz Jul 19, 2010 12:39 PM

I picked this girl up from Paul Rothenbach last year along with her Orange Tail Hypo 100% Het Leopard sister. She just shed and was looking HOT, so I thought I'd share a picture of her. She is definitely one of my favorites! Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

She looks great Matt. Shes salmon hypo as Larry confirmed but I cant imagine an orangetail making any difference. Your aztec female is taking jumbo rats and has a sharp sunglow mate waiting in the other tub. Paul.

I am thrilled with her.

I can't wait to see what you make with that boy you've got lined up to pair with the Aztec. I'll be looking forward to the baby pics down the road.

Chris Gilbert produced OT Hypo het Leopards in '08

IF the boa gods smile upon us, either he or I may have OT Hypo Leopards next season.

She has my vote!

Lizards of Oz Jul 19, 2010 03:26 PM

I should correct myself. She is a Salmon Hypo Leopard Boa. I had an error in my records. Sorry about that. Thanks for catching that LarM. I can't wait to produce some babies with her one day down the road.

This is one sweet boa, but I gotta ask.

I thought salmon and hypo were the same thing, just salmon is from a different w/c hypo with the same genetics, so pretty much just hypo but from a different lineage or is it something else?

Thanks
Zack

Same gene but originated from different wc animals but was crossed into a Colombian though.

Jeff has his own Colombian version of a hypomelanistic boa.

She is hot. The hypo Leopards are just a killer looking animal. Congrats.
