09' Hytec Het. Sharp Albino(pic)

AndrewPotts Jul 20, 2010 06:37 PM

A few photo's of the Orange-tail Hytec's het Sharp Albino at one year of age. Hope all enjoy. Andrew

PS We had another Albino female drop today from being bred by the Super Aztec. Unfortunately she only had 3 still born baby Aztec's(no Albino's) and the rest were slug's. Just like the other Albino bred by the Super Aztec that dropped earlier, the last time this girl dropped she only had slug's so this is an improvement. So two females dropped and except for the Albino all have been Aztec's. Andrew

Both are males but have a female who is equal or in my opinion surpasses these two in color but was in the blue when we took photo's. Andrew

Yea I think it's official that the Super Aztec is in fact a Super form of the Aztec. Except for the Albino all the babies produced between the two litters have been Aztec. Andrew

Thanks to everyone who took a look and wishing a wonderous year to all. Take care. Andrew

Love that hytec !!! just curious, Andrew can u tell us more about details history of Aztec morphs. Are they pure colombians? How big is your oldest male breeder? I got a buddy thinks that the aztec has some Mexican boa influence on them. I figured , if you can give me more infos will be great. I heard that the original male was a classroom pet for many years. do you still have that male and if you do have some pics of him.
Thanks in advance !

The Aztec is a pure Colombian morph and the oldest(7 years) and largest Aztec male is about 6' plus, although the largest female is in excess of 8'. FYI we keep our males smaller than our females. The story about the original Aztec being a classroom pet is accurate. What is little known is we had the original male back in 1991(have a developed photo) but don't remember whom we sold it too back then. Then in Summer of 2002 a retiring science teacher brought him to our store to sell because he had no need for him anymore. The moment I saw him I knew I had seen him before and went through our vast collection of developed photo's and eventually found a photo we had circa 1991. Unfortunately Bob's computer crashed and even though the idiot's at Comp USA said they could save the data on the hard drive it was not to be. So the only photo of the original male is a developed photo but plan to have it scanned and put on the computer. The original male produced several litters in 2003 and then became sick shortly after, never recovered and died shortly before the 2005 breeding season. The rest is history as they say. Hope this helps and thanks for the interest in the Aztec mutation. Andrew

Thanks a bunch for the history of the morph . I really see pontentials for the aztec morphs and combos.and if you can ,
post the pic of the male that started this amazing morph.
I believe aztec is far the best morph pattern and color by far.
I'm hoping to pick one of those gems soon
