So I am moving on Thursday and I am not sure if I should feed my snake or not. He seems to be hungry but I do not want to cause him stress before the drive. We are moving 4hrs away and I am not sure how he is going to take it.

Just don't feed him. It won't harm him at all...where as a meal not digesting right can harm him.

Okay. When I have moved before it was short distances and I just kept him in my arms or a pillow case close to my body. But, with this being a 4hr trip and me having to drive I am not sure if I should keep him in his tank what. What do you suggest the best thing for him is?
I agree, I don't feed my snakes at least a week or two before moving them. that way they are less likely to defecate in their bags while moving.
I suggest putting him in his snake bag, and then putting him in a Styrofoam cooler with a couple air holes. that way you can put him in the backseat of your car and just drive.
I am not going to have much room in my car so may I ask why a Styrofoam cooler and not just his tank?
A pillowcase in his tank or a cardboard box with some holes. Just something so he won't get slammed around the tank while you drive.

I'm moving this week as well and all mine are just going to skip a week. mine will ride in their sterilite tubs on the car seat.
But i have a lot longer ride from Florida to Virginia vs your 4. Good luck with your move!

We made almost the same trip in reverse 3 years ago. Our trip was from WV to VA where we stayed one night then from VA to FL. We only had one snake at the time but she made the trip in her sterilite tub too. Seems like the easiest way to me.
