Humidity

SouthernStyle76 Jul 21, 2010 05:32 AM

Does the humidity need to be 70% in the entire cage for a rainbow, or just the humid box? I am running 65-75% in the cage and 90 in the humid box.
Thanks

IMO that should be fine. Key point is there is a nice humid place where your BRB spends a fair amount of time.

More important than any measured humidity number is - How is your BRB shedding? If shedding well without tattering and/or stuck pieces, your humidity levels are just fine!!! Sometimes a shed will get snagged and torn while coming off, that's OK. It's the shredded ones or stuck pieces that indicate insufficient humidity levels.
