O/T...snake repellant?

My exterminator asked me if I knew of a reliable snake repellant. I told him that as far as I knew, outside of fumigating an entire house and basment, nothing worked. I've seen stuff sold at Home Depot, but I can't see any of it working.

Any thoughts?

Have the people call HSUS and PETA, and tell them theres a house full of snakes! They are the best at removing snakes from a house. Be sure the dogs are kenneled. VM

He wants to repel snakes, not attract them.
