I remember reading in some prior thread that Honey is good for that. The sugar takes down the swelling and the natural properties of honey help in healing. Key is to not let the hemipene dry out.

Nobody should have sold a snake with a prolapsed hemipene, especially to someone(no offense) who doesn't know how to treat it.
If it is a recent prolapse, soak him in luke warm water for half an hour or so to loosen up and free any debris that might be stuck. Gently dry off the hemipene and apply preparation-H to the pene and vent area. Keep him on slightly moist paper towels and apply every 6 hours. if it doesn't correct itself within a day then it will likely need to be removed. I have heard of babies born with prolapsed hemipenes that didn't recover. If it happened later, then it was probably due to dehydration from negligence on the sellers part.
Others will recommend a Sugar water bath but I have never seen Prep-H not fix a hemipene prolapse. Geckos, lizards or snakes. It works every time.
Good luck!
Much appreciated!!...he just ate...but paper towel is damp...and will get to the store asap...i knew it had a prolapse at the time...but its a snake that would cost a lot of $$ that i got for very cheap... i thought it was worth the risk...we'll see how it goes...
I would like to hear the sellers side of things as to why this snake was sold like this. Dare to comment?
he said he had another baby come out prolapsed as well... but he told me right away about the prolapse so he wasnt completely hiding the fact it was prolapsed...basically if i can get this little guy healthy, i make out in the deal big time... bc the snake is worth a lot more either way than what i paid... but right now he is in a tub with moist paper towel...tomorrow i will either get honey or preparation h...and if it doesnt work ill get to my herp vet...
