all of my snakes usually eat, but about 2 weeks ago, my sider and one of my normal girls doesnt seem interested in food. the spider ate a mouse on 7-14, and hasnt had anything since, its only been a little over a week so im not concerned too much he might just not be hungry. but the normal girl usually always eats 2 hoppers no problem, and the last time she ate was on 7-9, so maybe shes just not hungry?

Hmmm. How big are they and what are their cage/tub air temperatures?

all the cages are about 90 degrees and the spider is 126 grams probably a little more he ate 2 mice since i last weighed him, the girl is 126 and also ate 2 hoppers since i last weighed her. before that she was eating every week 2 hoppers. no problems. the spider ive had since 7-3 ate 2 times for me now stopped.

Who knows in that case. You could try providing them a greater temperature gradient, with a cool side down to 78-82 degrees or so. Give them a chance to find where they are comfortable. The Barkers found many Ball Pythons will go off food in the height of summer as well as the dead of winter. Could be the heat is getting to them?

i keep my snakes in 32 quart sterlite containers from wal mart, with heat cables taped to the bottom, they have 2 hides in each container, a water bowl, and some are on aspen the other are on cypress. But its about 75 in my room. thats hot for my liking but i made an exception for them. maybe thats the reason theyre not eating. i dont know. it hasent been long enough for them to start losing weight or anything yet. theyre all still full looking and active. so maybe they might just not be hungry. who knows. it would be so much easier if we could talk to animals!

welcome to ball pythons lol, they randomly do that. nothing to really be alarmed about. ive had some go off feed for 8 months with no ill effects

as long as their conditions are sound just ride it out. not too much else you can do about it lol
