A listing in the AZA newsletter to see if any of the accredited institutions has a need for any of those snakes for exhibit purposes?
Additionally, if you consider Texas A&M an accredited institution out of the private sector, they run a quality serpentarium over there for venom research. I've sent them quite a few specimens.
Currently there is a project going on at the University of Arkansas that requires 25 female Crotalus horridus for a non invasive study of how this species allocates resources for reproduction. This project is currently taking animals from the wild, and any existing confiscated non relocatable specimens that could be provided would spare that number of animals from being taken.
Check in also with Dr. Harvey Lillywhite at the University of Florida Gainesville. I don't know what they're currently doing over there, but snakes are probably involved and somebody might need some.
I know how much fun it's not to be stuck with extra snakes and to be (at least temporarily) unable to find adoptees that meet your standards. I've housed snakes for some time before finding acceptable homes. However I've found that if you spend enough time networking especially in the academic community, they can generally be dispersed.
