What's the worse bite anyone has ever gotten?

Johne Sep 24, 2003 10:34 AM

Just checking...most collareds don't bite, unless they are startled, or you grab a nice sized one out of the wild. Any good stories?

John ;P

Just kidding never been to Vietnam, I think the worst was from my Tegu. Not that he is mean it's just that you shouldn't confuse playtime with feeding time. Tegu had a hippy for lunch and I helped!

The worst I have saw was from an 9' Boa that ate my buddies hand for lunch one day. They have teeth like a razor blade!

The worst ever was when I was a kid though...took a St. Bernard bite to the face. OHHHHHH, "That is why they say don't bother the dog when it is eating LOL"

My worst lizard bite was an extremely large Tokay...ripped my palm open twice.

Poor little JoJo bit me twice. Once he got out of his cage and hit his head really hard and he bit me when I picked him up and I had to shake him off.

The second time he fell asleep between a leg of my bed and the corner of the wall and I had to wake him up to get him out and I guess I really surprised him because he bit me.

But he never tore my skin or anything.

....had to feed one my left arm once, a rescue we took in had a rotten brain. To Johne's feeding lesson I would add:
"Let sleeping dogs lay" LOL

I had to remove a very large, very mad stray tom cat from an airline kennel once. Ripped my arm and hand open. Don't like cats much anymore!

The tegu nailed me once as a young juvie, that bite drew blood, but not too bad.

None of my lizards have bit me. Not even the frilled dragon. But in the past I've had some bad ones. I had an iguana get me real good once. Worst bite was a pit bull though.
