I am a programmer looking for a Web Service that would allow me to programmatically retrieve reptile species information (like the Music database).

Does anyone know of such a service?

I am writing an Android app to track feeding, sheds etc. I would like to make it easy for the user to catalog the type of snakes in their collection.
