Gravid again!!!

Gregg_M_Madden Jul 24, 2010 03:59 PM

Yep, the girl that dropped 12 eggs on June 17th is gravid again... She just finished shedding, ate a couple of hoppers and is doing well... Hopefully I will see some eggs in a week or two...

Thanks for looking...

Beautiful snake Greg. Congrats. She looks huge. How many grams does she weigh?

Chris

Thanks Chris...
Not sure how much she weighs at the moment because I generally do not handle my snakes while they are gravid but she was over 280 grams after she laid her first clutch... I would imagine she is well over 350 grams at this point...

Very nice. Are you sure she is not an anaconda?
I know she was not sold as one but she really seems to have some of the traits in her pattern. Do let us see the offspring next month when they hatch.

thanks

Thanks everyone!!!

Kevin,
She does have some conda qualities to her but the belly pattern is a dead give-away in my opinion...

If it does turn out to be a conda, I aint tellin because I would owe Brent a few grand... LOL

Her first clutch is due to hatch in about 10 days... Hope this pattern is passed down... It is getting down to the wire and I cant wait to see what hatches out...
