This cuban brown anole was caught by hand:

He climbed to the top of a drain off the side of a house project I'm working on. He did not realize that I can jump about 4 feet from the ground straight up where I plucked him from the side of the drain.

I snatched him right on the side of neck region with two fingers so as not to get bit and I never squeeze very hard. Catch and release style

This particular project has this big screened in area that was infested with spiders.

One of which is the black widow. I caught many of them in a mason jar along with egg pods and relocated them to a wooded lot.

After that the area was sprayed with bug poison.
