Het Red Axanthic

everyone up at my local show says that the het red gene is recessive. But every single thing i see on the internet say they are codoms. In my opinion they are codom!! Here is a picture of my Het Red male.

The super is the Red Axanthic.
The het red have black back to distinguish themself. But at the same time, not all black back are het red. Meaning, if you breed a het red axanthic to a black back female, it will be hard to distinguish !
