I got home from work this morning at 5:30 am, and discovered babies! Copper probably had them yesterday, as they were all out cruising around. I didn't have time to check yesterday, so of course that was when she had them, lol.

Total of 18 live healthy babies with no stillborns and no slugs found. Suppose she could have eaten them, but will never know.

Here are some quick snapshots of my first ever het Hypos!

If that wasn't enough, I discovered Sky mating with Sable! What a surprise! I had given up on that pairing as I saw no action, and no indication that she was gravid.

Who would have thought I'd see mating and babies in July?? I wasn't expecting babies at all until at least late August! Woohoo!

NOW.... I MUST SLEEEEEP!!

0.2 kids (CBB, a big part of our selective breeding program)

LOL, to many snakes to list, last count (02/01/2010):
42.61 BRB
27.40 BCI
And those are only the breeders

lots.lots.lots feeder mice and rats

BTW, I counted at least 15....

Thanks Dave! There are 18 in this litter. Yes, I kept the parents together year round, as that seems to work best for me. I haven't figured out the 'science' like you have, so I just let them do their thing in their own time. Seemed to work for Sky and Sable, cause if I was using the spring introduction method they wouldn't have had this chance!
