Congrats Diaz men! Those are real nice but you must be getting confused having so many boas now! I saw on the RI forum (I do not know how to post there) that the dam "Hot Chocolate" is a Suriname that you have had since 2003. I sold her in Oct. 2005 to Cory Browning along with a sibling and two dozen other boas. She came from a Guyana litter in 2004. Below is a link to a photo of her(first) and her sibling(second). They were my favorite two of the litter and I can see that you must have got the sibling as well as he is shown in your website under "Guyanas". I am not sure how many hands they passed thru before they got to you but that is even more miraculous that you successfully bred her. You must be taking good care of them.
Well Mike,
You are correct on one thing....It was a typo on my part as far as the year. It should be the male (Futo Blood) that is from 2003 and not the female.
As I read your email I was a little upset to find out the origin of this female. I take this hobby seriously and to find out that the lineage of the female to be different than what I was told makes me a little impatient and angry.
I didn't know much about this person reputation before I got her (06) but her lineage was from Suriname from animals that you produce while the other snake (male) was a Guyanese BCC from animals that you produce as well. I don't want to mention any name but the person who sold them to me lives in Tennessee. This person said that the animals originally came from you so hearing Cory Browning to me is new to the equation. I hate crossing animals from different boundaries, origin, lineage, etc even though they are considered BCC shields but now that the truth comes to public I have to make sure that everyone knows about it. Again, thanks for the clarification Mike and this serves me as a lesson to know that I considered this person low in character and integrity. This hobby is fun but sometimes can be frustrating.
Regards,
Orlando
