I need help on this one...I was seeing that people import ball pythons from Africa. I was wondering how I can get into this. Some of the male?females that come out of Africa are kick ass!! Please tell me what websites/bisnuesses I can look/order from.

umm...i beileve i asked for help not negitive feed back...I thought this was for people to help eachother in our hobby of breeding snakes i have over 500 ball pythons i average 40-50 clutches a year i know what im talking about. I just never paid attention to imports till a couple days ago. Thanks anyways..Can someone give me positive feed back please!? thanks Joe

you need to find an exporter contact....many people are not willing to give this information out as they are just harming themselves if they do.

JYohe thank you for your help!! and i had a typo its 300 balls i average 50-60 clutches a year. But why 5000?? and brown worms?? im confused? why couldnt i say like 100 imported ball pythons?

Joe, I will try and explain it, its quite simple...

Once they leave the eggs, all and I mean all CH baby ball pythons are analysed under a magnifying glass for any obscure anomalie and when these are found, they go into a special bin to be sold for a small premium over all other normal ball pythons.

No special ball pythons with anomalies or markers are shipped in lots of 12, 48, 50 or 10,000 out of Afrika.

All the hot stuff, new and or obviously genetic is offered to the big boys and the one with the best offer gets the trophy, mind you he/she needs to import it from Afrika without getting scammed..

Its just not like it used to be, hot stuff does not make it over here in the big baby lot imports every year, you must be connected for the Hot stuff.

Rumor has it that a big prominent breeder has a brand new morph that will (in his own words) revolutionize the ball python industry...

Yeah, ive came across some people that claim to be breeders in Africa that say they will sell me a lot of 10 Clowns for 200 bucks. I just need to wire the money to them!
Obviously things like that are a scam.

JYohe is being a sarcastic joker who has nothing better to do than insult you on the forum. I would just do your own research or go directly to friendly breeders who import and try to get in on projects. Some breeders are protective, greedy or just not friendly or helpful.

It is very hard to import them yourself. You need to be in with the exporter usually or be ready to buy a lot of them.

Good luck. Dinker projects can be fun and sometimes rewarding. I have one I am working on right now.

So, all of your balls are adult breeders that produce every year? That is one of the dumbest things I have read in a response to someone asking a simple question and giving their collection info.

I have 30 balls and I sure didn't have 15 clutches this year and I have been breeding snakes for 30 years. NOBODY I know has all breeder animals if they have more than 5 or 6. And they sure don't get clutches from every female every year!

If you have nothing positive to say or are unable to answer the question then I suggest keeping your dumb remarks to yourself. They just make you look bad.

Well Noahs phone# or E-mail is your best bet but its like the gentelman before me said "Try finding that out" the kinda info you need to do stuff like import Toffes and such is hevely guarded. I have a close friend that imported an Ultramel from Noah but im not even gonna go thare with him cause its realy not worth it to pry into such personal dealings.....not even with a friend as close as mine so.......best of luck
