I have been speculating for some time, and I just can't figure it out! Thought maybe someone on this forum could help me figure out if my little Rhino, Mo (or "Mote" as my little one says) is a boy or girl!! Thanks so much everyone!

Sorry, I can't figure out how to post more than one picture to a thread..

And another...

Last one, I promise! We just love this guy!

How old is Mo?
I don't think it's the face we need pics of. I had a green that *everyone* thought was a girl for most of his life. He had very feminine features -- until you looked at his underside.
In one picture, where you can see the thick part of the tail it looks like there could be a hemipenal bulge, but not knowing how old he is or anything and not having a whole lot of experience sexing Cyclura, I'm not sure how much help I can be.
There are others here with much more experience, but the list has been really quiet the past few days.
At any rate, he's adorable.
We got him as a hatchling, and I've had him about a year and a half now. I was thinking those might be bulges, but I wasn't too sure.. I know the face shots don't really help sex (I breed beardies, and no matter what, everyone always thinks they are all males, I guess they think the spikes make them manly? I don't know!), but he has such a cute face, I had to include them.
Thanks for your help!
Could we get some more profile shots? Try to show the base of the tail and head profile in comparison to the body. If you can you might also want to include an underside shot showing the base of the tail and underside of thigh. To post more than one photo you can upload them to your photo gallery. Then whenever you go to post a message, after you type in the dialogue box and before you hit the post message button, there will be a box with a list of your photos right above the "post message" button. Just hold down "ctrl" and you can select up to 3 images. Hope this helps..

Ok, here are some more pictures that I just snapped. What a good rhino he (she?) is, he takes it all with a grain of salt! Lol.
p.s. I figured it out! How to post more than one picture!

And sorry, here is another of his face...there were so many pictures of his butt, I thought I had to even it up some.

Okay I am going to speculate that this is a male based on the small bulges under the base of the tail, and the fact that he appears to have a large head in proportion to his body size. So there is my opinion. Hopefully others with lots of experience will chime in and give you their opinions.
He is definitely a beauty by the way, and he seems very calm. I am so thankful my Walter is mellow since I've heard how Rhinos can tend to be pretty nasty until they get older and develop a bond with their humans!

Thanks so much for your help! He has always been awesome, never nasty, and he really enjoys being pet. It's nice to finally have a nice iguana after having nasty greens for years! Lol!

Its always super hard to tell at this age. I kept going back and forth with my Nella if she was M/F. The "buldges" are soemetimes tough on the little ones b/c the females are such chunky-monkeys that sometimes they store so much fat there
Its looking male, you have a 1 out of 2 chance, but I would have to see it in person to fully sum up whats going on
