Congrats to Terry Dunham!

I'd just like to congratulate Terry on his well-written twelve page Honduran milksnake article in the new 2011 annual Reptiles USA magazine!.

It's always fun to see every single name mentioned regarding these snakes are all good snake buddies of ours too.

Well done Terry!

Just make sure it is the newest 2011(not 2010) publication at the top, because there are still plenty of the older mags still on the racks too.

This new one has a huge closeup of a cobalt blue Poison Dart frog on the cover. The older issue has a turtle on the cover.

enjoy!

Sounds like a real good excuse to get out the house and hit the Petco nearby LOL!! I love the Reptiles annuals. Not too fond of the monthlies, but the annuals are still pretty good. Glad Terry published an article in it about hondos!!

My closest Petsmart is about 30 min from me, and the closest Petco is around an hour. But as it happens I'll be within just a coupla blocks of that Petsmart at suppertime tonight, so I'll try to bop on over there before it closes!

Barnes & Noble, and other big chain book stores probably has it too.

Luckily, I got mine at "Pet Supermarket" 3 blocks down the road from me..LOL!

My friend Tom Crutchfield's nice article on albino Green Iguanas was in it too.

I got it!

The Petsmart was already closed because of early Sunday hours, but the Books-A-Million in the same center had it. And they also had a poultry magazine with an article written by a friend of mine -- which I hadn't even known about, because the bum didn't tell me he was writing it! So it's a good thing I ended up there looking for the Reptile mag.

I've read about half the Honduran article so far. Beautiful pics. Now I want one of the reverse albinos!

I know what ya mean!

Yes, she was a flawless beauty as a hatchling with absolutely zero tipping. ALL ghosts get pretty heavily tipped as they mature, some very severely. But her's is more of a light "overspray" of sorts, aka "newsprint", and was really pink too as a youngster.

Too bad she gave me duds this year with a likely triple homozygous "pearl" she was bred with.

Thanks, Doug. It's important to emphasize how much of a team effort the article was. I spoke to probably a dozen of you, read posts here at great length, gathered photos--some of which ended up not being used but those contributors are as appreciated as the ones acknowledged in the photo credits. My thanks to everyone.

The opinions in the article are mine, unless attributed to someone. I tried to represent the disparate views on numerous issues. Any failure to do so, or errors otherwise, are mine, not the contributors.

Again, it was a team effort and I apprciate everyone's help. Thumbs up to all of you.

It's gracious of you to share the accolades. Looking forward to reading your book. I'm sure it will have some great photos as well. I had a great year with my hondos. Looking forward to any help the book will give.

Note that it's just an article, not a book. But i hope you enjoy it.

I already thought of that. I guess I was so enthused by the time I put it into words it had GROWN into something bigger.

Nice to see some well deserved credit. The article was very good.

Way to go Terry. If anyone should write that article it would be you. I can't wait to read it and check out the photos.

I'll pick up the magazine just for that article. Terry's got to be one of the few well-written contributers to that publication!

I second that Doug. I was very happy with the article. Terry did a great job and hopefully some of the mega questions will be answered in the near future.
