tiled viv

does anybody use tiled floors in there tanks if so are they cold and are they any good to use

i have ceramic tiles in my cubans viv
i have no issues. it holds heat well during the day, not really cold at night. also helps keeps their nails slightly dulled and clean up is a breeze

thanks for that i didnt want to do all the tanks with them and it be no good did you fix them to the viv or silicone round them so wee couldnt seep under the tiles

actually no, i didnt seal them. i just placed them in. i'm not overly concerned with a little bit of wee seeping through every now and again

do you think it would work if i did seal them with silicone as when my male rhino wees its like a river when hes done

i dont see why not. as long as you let it all air dry for a while and let it dry under the heat to make sure no fumes are coming off

I used tile and love it! It's super easy to clean and looks good.
