Here is another pic of Fred and Wilma....(I know they have such orinagl names lol)

and no that is not there cage....just like a quarinte cage while the other is being completed

This mornig I went out to my outdoor tegu enclosure. I fed him some meatballs made of raw gound turkey, bananas and Ca suppliment. He was a bit too chilled to eat right away so he was sitting out in the sun. I left him at 10:00AM. I went back out around 1:00PM and he was nowhere to be found. We searched all "teguy" places in the vicinity with no luck.
He did this earlier in the summer and I thought the problem was corrected. He was out for about a week and belive it or not...came back. A friend suggested leaving the top open on the enclosure. I told her that she was crazy...but did it anyway. I ended up having to appologize...but I was happy.
So I've left it open again. But this time the days are getting shorter and the nights chillier. I think the woodchuck borrow he found this time ( there are many in the vicinity) may be the perfect hibernactula. He should have no problem surviving, but I'd much rather have him back!!
