Anyone else?

Not really digging many of the champagne combos?
Seems like the champagne "pattern" overpowers everything else.

I like the Pastel Champagnes with the strange, shattered yellow pattern on the back. I haven't seen a Lesser, Cinn, or Mojo Champ yet, if they have been produced. Could be really interesting, could be really boring.

I'm also interested in seeing a stronger pattern mutation tried with Champagnes, like a Clown Champage or Genetic Stripe Champagne.

Unless we understand the genetic mechanisms that create these patters and colors we really cannot guess what combos they would create!

REALLY? If anything, it made me want to get some! Love the pastel!

Champagnes destroys and almost eliminates pattern, solid and/or paternless unicolored BP's are very desirable in book!

I love their black button eyes and how they improve with every shed rather than fade or get muddy they just get brighter and cleaner. The adult pastel champagnes look NOTHING like the babies. Nor does the lessser champagne. They actually gain color and patter rather than loose it. A gene that improves with age is a no brainer to me. Also, what an amazingly extreme base morph. When I first saw one I thought I would have to buy 2 or 3 genes and try and make one.

I'm not digging them either KingofSpades. We're probably in the minority for sure on this one though. I'm really in the minority for pinstripes. I don't like the look of any of the pin combo's.

Can anyone tell me the history of the Champagne morph? I just remeber seeing them in the forum, but dont remember much more than that. Were they first imported in? Personally I think they are an incrediable morph and it is one that is on my wishlist!
Thanks in advance.
