I was reading Duffy's question about Black/TX intergrades and it reminded me of the snake we found in Freestone county TX a few years back.
At first I thought it was like this because it was an intergrade with black rat, but I have subsequently seen more snakes from N and E of that area that aren't like this at all.
It was completely black and white and gray. I don't remember there being any red/orange on it at all. Possibly an anerythristic TX rat?
BTW - the snake is happy and living free in Freestone county still (or at least he was in 1996, when I released him).
