New shipping solution!

a153fish Aug 08, 2010 01:57 PM

I want to share with you guys, a new Reptile shipping Solution for anyone wanting to ship HARMLESS reptiles. I have heard good things about them and since SYR doesn't do snakes anymore thought some of you might be interested. I just became registered with them and it was super easy!

This sounds pretty good. Do you know what the average price is for sending a box with 2 deli cups or the average percentage of savings over normal UPS shipping?

There is a calculator to give you a quote on the site. You just have to plug in the zip codes and the box size.

hey Tim,
I have UPS pickup at work so I was using SYR...I know they saved me around $14.00 a shipment, on average.
I was looking over Reptile Express and the numbers look similar. I signed up since SYR is banning snakes for now. I think it is worth it.

I looked up an example shipping quote price on what I shipped earlier to a breeder out in Caifornia from here in Florida, and it was even several bucks cheaper that SYR was via the same UPS service!

Can't beat it,.period!!!
