Boa poo question... HELP!

traviswyattweber Aug 08, 2010 02:38 PM

I have a 4-5 mo. old hypo boa. She eats like a pig, and it's been well over a month since she's pooped or peed. She's getting really big in the back 1/2 are. I don't want to feed her, and I tried soaking her in warm water awhile... but nothing. Constipated boa!!! What else can I do to help her?

It is kind of weird but we have kind of noticed a slight temp drop has gotten a lot of ours to defecate. Might just be a goofy coincidence but that is how it seemed. What temps do you have her at? Try soaking her in some more warm water but if she looks big in the rear I would not feed until she defecates. We only will feed 2 meals without seeing a full defecation. Hope this helps.
