Hey Bob,

I've been around...been fighting this invasion of corais from the north. They're into North NJ already! The Red Sox are no prob for us Yankees...but the Boston Corais are a force to be reckoned with!

Haha....actually these 50 hour work weeks are kickin my butt. I'm on lunch right now typing this. I wish I was back in college!

You mean the Red Sux!
Baseball was NEVER a sport I had interest in, even as a kid.
It just bores the hell out of me.
I just got 1 w.c. juvie male and 4 c.b. high yellow YT's today and 3 c.b. YT's yesterday!!!!
Now cleaning Cribo crap, that's my great american past time! LOL

Take Care
Bobby

No, I must confess I'm a little shall we say "dated" for the Beastie Boys. Grew up with early Rush, Black Sabbath, and the like...

Actually the names are biblical and the play on words was too much for the spousal unit and me to resist.

Regards,
J.

shadindigo Sep 24, 2003 05:07 PM

Acting as normal innocuous lap snake would act. "I'm OK dad, just give me a little more room..." LOL.

bobl Sep 25, 2003 07:38 AM

He's looking good!
Very brave to wear a light blue shirt while holding him! LOL

shadindigo Sep 25, 2003 02:58 PM

Yeah,

A beer or two doesn't hurt either. LOL. When it's inevitable, you might as well enjoy it. Normally spousal unit leaves the room when he's out but somebody had to take the pix.

Regards,
J.

bobl Sep 25, 2003 04:56 PM

They look excellent!
I'm glad they are doing well for you.
I bet they breed this year for you.

Good Luck
Bobby

shadindigo Sep 24, 2003 05:09 PM

Held by spousal unit. VERY calm easy going animal.

dan felice Sep 24, 2003 05:25 PM

is your texas kinda brownish anteriorly? looks that way in that pic. looks similar to mine though he's getting darker shed by shed i've noticed......

shadindigo Sep 24, 2003 05:56 PM

Dan,

Not really, depends on lighting I guess. Coloring is pretty consistant dorsally. Not as irridescent as an Eastern but nice enough for a Floridian who can't keep them. Ventrally the coloration is reddish anteriorally to midbody and darkens towards the vent, matching dorsal coloration probably about two thirds of the way down the animal.

Regards,
Jeff

P.S. I'm still learning the zoological descriptive terms so if I have described a polka dotted zebra somehow I'll try it in regular English next time.

P.P.S. OH, there's a term at the anterior of the alphabet that I was not able to find.

J.

oldherper Sep 24, 2003 06:23 PM

Did I leave out the word "anterior"? I'll have to go investigate...

bobl Sep 25, 2003 07:40 AM

That female is a beast. While at the dealers shop she ate two 5 foot Spilotes that the shop owner had in with her!
When I got her I put her in the tub to soak and she craped out loads of belly scales. LOL

Looks like this will be the next Dry on my wish list....better buy some more scented candles for my wife!

shadindigo Sep 24, 2003 07:54 PM

Rob,

Scented candles are always in order. Besides, you can always offer them as a gift rather than having an ulterior motive. So long as she doesn't read the board that is...

Regards,
J.

Carmichael Sep 24, 2003 09:10 PM

No motives are needed...my wife has no problem buying candles for my "hobby"....she's happy and when the wife is happy, everyone is happy!

shadindigo Sep 24, 2003 11:18 PM

Ain't THAT the truth.

Regards,
J.

oldherper Sep 24, 2003 06:25 PM

Very nice animals, Jeff (and Beatrice)..they look very healthy.

shadindigo Sep 24, 2003 11:23 PM

Thanx Mr. G. we try. They're all great animals from good stock so it's not too hard. Bobl being one provider. We'll have some more Texans that we'll give credit for soon.

Regards,
J.

Our girl we got at Daytona (in the pic Jeff posted) just shed for the first time for us. Good, complete shed. I weighed her with the new scale - 26 grams.

I had been watching a Raytek IR thermometer on eBay, but some nut bid it up in the last hour. Everyone knows the way to win the auction at the best price is to snipe in the last 60 seconds of the sale . . . which is a lot easier with broadband than it is with dial-up!

BTW, I've been calling this girl "Butterfinger." I wonder if Oldherper remembers what I'm referring to?
