I think they have potential to prove but would like opinions on if these possible hets for OG have any markers that make them look like 100% hets.

female has a faded dot on its head,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and she is a looker, above average for sure.

Thanks. I would like to know if I am correct that sometimes hets have the colors of visuals bleed thru.

From my experience, the faded dot on the head and the fact that the hets look better than average seems to be consistent. The faded dot is on ALL of my ghost hets and has been consistent since 1993, for me anyway.

The female definitely looks like an orange ghost to me. I don't know if maybe the camera flash overexposed them, and gave them a faded look but the female looks more ghost then some orange ghosts I have seen. Also what Kyle said, the dot on the head is a tell-tale sign. Many if not all of the het for albinos that I produce have a big faded spot on their heads. I haven't produced a het for ghost that wasn't a co-dom combo for a few years so I couldn't really comment on the normal straight up het for ghosts. I think you may have something going on with them though. Best of luck.

Female looks like an Orange Ghost too me. Has the lighter head dot, The black pattern on her has a purple tint. I dunno..

Because when I posted the clutch photo on here after they hatched, everyone that responded told me that she was absolutely not a ghost and that at best she was a het.

To be honest, I think she is a het. A real nice one at that where the color bleeds thru. I am not really good with ghosts though so I cannot tell and figured I would post to see if the experts thought that the color bleeding thru would mean she was a definite het. I just figured she had a good chance of being an actual het instead of a possible het because of the color.

if it sheds a clear patternless shed, its a ghost.

Ive hatched out a good number of ghosts in the past and in my honest opinion the one on the left is def a ghost.. The other is a normal (poss het ghost) Most of my het ghost animals are lighter though in color.
