I was thinking to myself....man!, what a killer example of a motley/lavender to wind up in a pet store..LOL!,......although unbelievable things do pop up once in a while. Heck, I have sold some stuff to stores a LONG time ago that was some of the very nicest specimens anywhere in the country. They had no clue just HOW nice the stuff was either, and never heard of half the stuff I sold them, and I just wrote down what each one was for them to label things correctly.
Of course what you write down, and what gets put on a tank label can be two different things..LOL!. One store several years ago bought an adult "Andean milksnake" from me. I went back later to the store a few days later for something, and I saw they had labeled the snake as an...."Indian milksnake"..HAHAHA!!. I'm sure the kid clerk thought I wrote it down incorrectly!
Anyway, those are both really nice snakes you picked up!

Those Indian Milk Snakes are very rare in the hobby. I think they came to America during the time of the Spanish colonization. Too bad you didn't keep it, as it would be very valuable now!!

Looks like that will shape up to be a very nice RO. I don't care for this trend of "high white" RO's - what makes an RO so nice to me is the sharp orange-white-red contrast. If I wanted a red and white corn I would get a candy cane LOL
PS Pituophis
Thanks, Yeah, she's got a beautiful peachy pink coming in on her sides. Hope it stays and doesn't turn orange.
She's a piglet, too, as you can see from her fat belly.

My thoughts exactly! If I wanted a candy cane, I will buy a candy cane!
I love that RO the poster posted!! Very good contrasting colors and patterns throughout. To me, that is about perfect!
