Snake Tattoo

morphed Aug 12, 2010 10:47 AM

I had this started last year, it has been a work in progress, my friend owns a shop in Portland ME and does amazing work, just getting up there as often as I would like too can be a pain. Anyways, it is no where near done, i also have my other side i am working on. It is in color but i dont wanna post full color pics till its done Im going in a few weeks to get more work so i figured id share it at this point and then again maybe when its finally done..

(It is actually an exact skeletal of a ball python and the fleshy parts are a little black back pastel i produced last year sometime.. I wanted to do some crazy morph but figured a normal pattern is easier to tell what it is..)

Very nice! You are so lucky to find a tattoo artist who knows how to do snake proportions correctly. I have seen a lot of bad BP tattoos since I started looking around. I look forward to updated pictures.

Very cool looking tattoo, can't wait to see the finished pictures. Maybe you can find a friend to help with photos too...mirror shots are tricky, and you did a great job with the photo as well.

Thanks .. I have a croc monitor on my other side same like the snake half skeleton half skin, its just the bloodline right now but I'm getting it shaded in a few weeks ill post some more pics after. I also have the mandirin chinese down my back that says "beauty is imperfection" and I have a paragraph on my other rib cage. They are addicting lol.unfortunatley I'm running out of room...

this is a pic of my other side. It is very hard to see but you can kinda sorta if you cross your eyes and squint see the outline of my croc monitor. Its just a bloodline so it is very light. I should be getting that shaded in 2 weeks from now so i will post new pics once you can make it out better. You can also see my other paragraph i have over my ribs on that side..
Hope everyone likes.. I love them
