I have a girl who is acting a little odd. Shes laying on her back around her water dish.
Is there a chance shes gravid?
She was with a male about 2 months ago, but only for about a week, (When I moved, it made it a lot easier to put them in the same cage. Then it took some time to get setup).
Just wondering if I should get the Incubator set up ahead of time!

I have never bred before, but I have done a lot of research in anticipation of our first clutch. I remember a female laying on her back, especially in a coil, was a sign they are gravid. They eggs are getting large and therefore uncomfortable. Theoretically, laying on their backs make them more comfy.

What is even weirder to me, is that she is still feeding. Not the slightest bit of hesitation. I gave her a rat today, gobbled it right up.
Ive never bred before eaither.
So any advice would be nice.

I've had females eat when they are gravid. I almost always offer a rat every two weeks, and my het pied female ate up till about two weeks before she laid 7 good eggs.
