This year, fertility problems led to several clutches of bad eggs, but a first time breeder female gave me the only Florida king I'll produce this year.

At least I made it count:

Wowsers, man, that is gorgeous. Any idea that was going to happen based on the parents? Any temperature irregularities that might have done that? Wow.

The temps were the same as I incubated my eastern kings with this year, and they all came out pretty normal.

The parents are Hillsborough County Sulfur Kings. There is a tendency toward wider bands an aberrant patterns with this line, but this is a lot more extreme than what I've seen before.
